Going, going, going…green!

At Market Street, we’re proud to be in Coppell-Lewisville – and all of the other Texas communities we serve. We not only want to take care of our neighbors, but our neighborhoods, too! That’s why we’ve implemented our “Go Green for Good” initiative to really change the way we do business – for the better.

Walking into the Coppell-Lewisville Market Street, you might notice a blue recycle bin at the front of the store. There, you can drop off your plastic shopping bags from your last trip. Or better yet, take advantage or our “Bring Your Own Bag” (BYOB) program. For just about a dollar bag, you can purchase heavy-duty, reusable bags that are great for carrying groceries and a whole lot more!

Also in our Coppell-Lewisville store, you’ll notice high-efficiency lighting in every refrigerated case, saving energy and the accompanying carbon emissions.

Through our new, companywide Go Green Task Force, Market Street is constantly searching for ways to go greener and also to help the city of Coppell-Lewisville in its commitment to cleaner living.
